COSAFA Namibia U-17 v Zambia game rescheduled

The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) has rescheduled the girls under-17 game between Namibia and Zambia.

The two teams were scheduled to meet today, Saturday, at the Region 5 Youth Games at Maseru in Lesotho.

However, Cosafa secretariat has announced that the match has been revised due to a waterlogged pitch at Setsoto Stadium.

“The Girls’ U17 game at the Region 5 Youth Games Maseru 2020 between Namibia and Zambia has been postponed to Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch. The match will kick-off at 10h00 CAT.

“The fixture scheduled for Sunday between Botswana and Namibia will now be played on Monday. A time for that match and the Girls’ final will be determined in due course. The two Boys U17 matches that were scheduled for this afternoon could still go ahead if weather conditions improve,” Cosafa statement reads.

Earlier, Cosafa announced that the 2021 Men’s Under-20 Championship that was scheduled to be held in Eswatini from December 10 to 18 2021 has been postponed to 2022 to allow more of our Member Associations to compete.
