Tunisia are through to the quarter final of the ongoing FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar following a 1-0 win against UAE on Thursday at Al Thumama Stadium.
The Carthage Eagles who started the campaign with a 5-1 thrashing of Mauritania returned to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Syria on the second Group B game.
Tunisia finished top of Group B as they finished with six points ahead of United Arab Emirates UAE on goal difference.

In the other group game, Mauritania dented Syria hope of reaching the quarter final with a 2-1 which was their first victory in the tournament.
Both teams are out of the tournament as Syria comes third with four points, while Mauritania finished in the fourth and last place with three points.
