AFCON AFCON: Onyekuru Goes Spiritual As Super Eagles Trains Today

SIt uper Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru is looking towards a successful African Cup of Nations outing with the team.

Onyekuru who was called up due to the withdrawal of Victor Osimhen and Emmanuel Dennis took part in today’s training at the MKO Abiola Stadium.

The Olympiacos forward in a tweet after Monday’s training also said he is setting a new goal.

Journalists were given full access for today’s training to talk with the players and officials as well as watch the training session.

As at the time of this report, only 14 players are already in camp.

Super Eagles interim coach, Austine Eguavoen was confidence that more players are expected to arrive latest Monday night for the last training.

The team are expected depart for Garoua, Cameroon on Wednesday.
