The 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is already underway at the totally new Olembe Stadium in Yaounde the Stallions’ midfielder Gustavo Sangare who scored the very first goal of this competition. Sangare found the back of the net at the 24th minute with an assist from Bertrand Traore.
The hosts Cameroon will level the scoring on penalty by Vincent Aboubakar in the 40th minute. The same Aboubakar will help the Indomitable Lions take the lead on a penalty in the additional time.
