AFCON Iwobi Finally Breaks Silence On Super Eagles AFCON Exit

Alex Iwobi has finally spoken on his red card in the Round of 16 1-0 loss to Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Iwobi was shown a red card few minutes after he came into the game as the Super Eagles were reduced to 10 men against the Carthage Eagles.

The Everton midfielder received abuses on social media, but rather than response aggressively, he promised Nigerians that the team will make Nigeria proud again.

Nigeria next game will be against Black Stars of Ghana in the FIFA World Cup playoff.
