Foot Africa Bafana Bafana To Play Friendly Against Chipolopolo Next Month In Zambia

Bafana Bafana of South Africa will play a friendly against Chipolopolo of Zambia. According to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Nkoloma Stadium will host the match with a kick-off time 15h00 on February 12 in Lusaka.

This friendly meeting will mark the new Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic’s debut match in charge following the Croats appointment this month.

Since the friendly will be played outside the FIFA match window, only domestic–based players will be available. And it will also be a great opportunity for Asanovic to make a preliminary assessment of his CHAN team prospects.

Meanwhile, Chipolopolo and Bafana’s previous meeting was seven months ago on July 14 when the two sides drew 0-0 in their final Group A match at the 2021 COSAFA Cup held in Nelson Mandela Bay.
