AFCON Waldrum Name 35 Players For AWCON Qualifier Against Ivory Coast

Ahead of the final of the 12th edition of the Women Africa Cup of Nations, AWCON Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum has invited a total of 35 players to the camp.

The Super Falcons will play against the Lady Elephants of Ivory Coast women national team.

Both team will trade tackle in a two legged fixture for who will reach the final of the competition that will be hosted in Morocco July this year.

Nigeria will host the Ivorian in the first leg at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday, 18th February with the return at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan on Wednesday, 23rd February.

The players are expected to resume camp February 1 to enable them train before the crucial match.

Waldrum does not want to take chances and have invited a star studded squad ahead of the game led by Asisat Oshoala .

Nigeria defeated 2-1 on aggregate to each the final qualifying stage .
