AFCON CAMEROON 2021 Gambia’s Scorpions out to sting Indomitable Lions: Confirmed Line-Ups

All things being equal scorpions should never bother lions—even more when such kings of the jungle are in their own den.

However, stubborn Scorpions of Gambia have invaded Cameroon hoping to sting the the Indomitable Lions right at their own Japoma den this Saturday evening.

Therefore, Cameroon face their biggest test at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) when they line up against Gambia in the quarterfinal showdown.

Cameroon’s Portuguese coach Da Sila Olivera Antonio Da Concecao has unleashed his trusted 11 lions, led by marauding Vincent Aboubar, hoping to chase the Scorpions back to Gambia.

On the other hand, Gambia coach Tom Saintfiet believes his Scorpions are ready to overpower the Lions using team work while relying on sharp stinging Musa Barrow.

The Belgian coach has also opted to start with youthful goalkeeper Baboucar Gaye ahead of experienced Jobe Modou.

Gambia and Equatorial Guinea are the last minnows remaining in the race with other giant killers Malawi, Sierra Leone and Comoros having bowed out.
