AFCON Kamou Malo sends warning to Sadio Mane’s Senegal ahead of AFCON 2021 semifinal

Burkina Faso head coach Kamou Malo reassured during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday that his team will not change its identity ahead of their AFCON 2021 tie against Senegal on Wednesday at 19:00 GMT.

The Stallions are bringing joy in the hearts of people in Burkina Faso amid the political crisis following the recent coup in the country with their performances since the start of this Africa Cup of nations.

And they are not ready to stop their journey in Cameroon as they are willing to stun AFCON 2021 runners-up Senegal when they face off with them tomorrow, Wednesday.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Burkina Faso coach Kamou Malo said they will keep their game plan against Sadio Mane and teammates.

“We will not loss our identity because we have to play a good team like Senegal . We will keep our identity and play the game like we should”, Malo said.

Furthermore, he lauded the contribution of players from abroad which help the team progress these years.

“There is progress in football in Burkina Faso. There are young boys who play in clubs abroad and they add value to our football. We have to recognize that ”, he added.
