Al Ahly have confirmed Pitso Mosimane has tested negative after his second COVID-19 test. The update follows after the first test was positive.

The latest second test means Mzansi’s legendary coach will be on the bench in Saturday’s FIFA Club World opener against Mexico’s C.F. Monterrey. The game is set to kick off at 1630 GMT at Al Nahyan Stadium (Abū ẓabī (Abu Dhabi)).

While Al Ahly fans were left with hands on heads, the good news have now arrived. Al Ahly have announced that Pitso Mosimane has tested negative, hours before the Red Devils take on Monterrey in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday night.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, the club’s first football team doctor, announced that the first and second medical smears conducted by Pitso Mosimane, the team’s coach, were negative.” The club’s translated statement.
