Egypt Zamalek Sack Patrice Carteron And Appoint Former Egypt Assistant Coach

Zamalek announced on Monday to have parted ways with their head coch Patrice Carteron. The partnership between the Egyptian giants and the French technician came to an end following the Egyptian club’s CAF Champions League 3-1 defeat to Wydad Casablanca and poor domestic league results.

Club Legend and former Egypt assistant coach Osama Nabih has been appointed as an interim coach until they find his replacement. And the club’s President Mortada Mansour assured fans that they are actively looking for a coach that fits their criteria. The President thanked Carteron for his time at the helm of the first team.

We now have a board meeting and we will take the final vote on the matter. Meanwhile, Amir Mortada, Gamal Abdelhamid and Ahmed Mortada have been looking for the new coach since this morning. One that’s worthy of Zamalek.” He said in a video published on his YouTube channel.
