Egyptian businessman Loutfy Mansour is linked with buying Chelsea as the current owner Roman Abramovich announced that the club is for sale on Wednesday.

Few days ago, the Russian billionaire said he left the club’s management to a Foundation he owns as a result of his proximity with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

However, the war between Russia and Ukraine is yet to end and this compelled Abramovich to announce that Chelsea is for sale.

So far, many billionaire including Irish fighter Connor McGregor have shown interest in buying the two-time Champions league winning club.

And now, Egyptian billionaire Loutfy Mansour is listed among the investors who could buy Chelsea.

According to Telegraph, Mansour is planning to launch a bid to bu the club.

Loutfy is the head of Mansour Group’s investment arm, Man Capital which is a massive Egyptian conglomerate with $7.5b in annual revenues.

If Loutfy Mansour buy Chelsea, he will be the second Egyptian club owner in the Premier League, with the first being Aston Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris.
