Zamalek President Mortada Mansour announced the return of Jesualdo Ferreira at the helm of the club after parting ways with Patrice Carteron.

Ferreira is remembered fondly among Zamalek fans for his stint with the White Knight in 2015, when he guided them to the domestic double [Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup].

The 75-year-old spoke for the first time since the announcement. And the Portuguese coach expressed his delight with his return to the White Castle.

“Thanks for the many messages and the kind words that the Zamalek fans dedicated to me. I return with pleasure and great ambition. See you soon.” He wrote in an Instagram post.
