Friendly Al Ahly And Pyramids FC Forwards In Hugo Broos’ Squad To Face Guinea And France

Despite having had a strong World Cup qualifiers campaign, the Bafana Bafana narrowly missed-out on reaching the third round.

South Africa finished second in their Group with 13 points, behind Ghana only on goal difference.

They have organized two friendlies as they won’t have any official games during the March international break.

On March 25th they will face Guinea, before coming up against world champions France on the 29th.

Hugo Broos announced his preliminary 29-man squad for these games on Tuesday morning. And the list includes Al Ahly’s Percy Tau and Pyramids forward Fagrie Lakay.

Both players are having strong campaigns with their respective clubs. Tau scored five goals and providing two assists in 11 appearances. Meanwhile, Lakay managed to score twice in his six appearances so far.
