Pitso Mosimane is poised to receive a new award just after guiding Al Ahly to another FIFA Club World Cup bronze medal last February in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Al Ahly coach has been nominated for the Favourite African Star of the Year category in the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
For Mosimane to walk away with the award, he should accumulate the most votes in the category. And for that reason, his agency, MT Sports, has asked the public to vote.
In December 2021, Mosimane was named the Best African coach by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

And that individual accolade was followed by the Ubuntu Sports Diplomacy award by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa.
Mosimane would hope to get enough votes and add to his collection of individual awards, especially since his move to ‘Club of the Century’ in October 2020.
