FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP Super Eagles Camp Update: Lookman Arrive Camp As Eagles Hold First Training

Super Eagles new invitee Ademola Lookman has arrived the team Abuja camp ahead of Friday’s FIFA World Cup Play-off against Ghana in Kumasi.

Lookman was among the players invited by coach Augustine Eguavoen after the player decided to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria.

His arrival took the number of players already in camp to 23 as the Super Eagles held its first training session on Tuesday evening.

A tweet on the official account of the Super Eagles confirmed the arrival of the Leicester City player who could making his international debut for Nigeria on Friday.

The first leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off is scheduled for Friday in Kumasi, Ghana while the second leg is March 29 at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The winner after both legs will join four other Africa teams to represent Nigeria in this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar which will begin in November.
