Africa Soccer VIDEO : Black Stars train in darkness in Abuja Stadium ahead of Nigeria vs Ghana clash

Nigeria vs Ghana

The Black Stars of Ghana trained in darkness at the Abuja Stadium tonight ahead of their World Cup playoff tie against Nigeria Super Eagles on Tuesday evening.

The ‘Jollof Derby’ is more than a game as it reveals the level of the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana and what just happened in Abuja explains it more.

Otto Addo and his men arrived in Abuja on Monday and went to the Abiola Stadium to complete their last training session.

Suddenly, the lights have been taken off in the Stadium, compelling Thomas Partey and teammates to train in darkness.

On social media, many say Nigeria are doing to Ghana what they did to them at their arrival at Airport for the first leg.

In fact, the Super Eagles were given a particular analog ramp and could only jump before getting off the plane.

The Nigeria vs Ghana clash starts at 17:00 GMT tomorrow and the winner will secure a ticket for 2022 Qatar World Cup.
