After failing to qualify for the World Cup, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) could terminate Queiroz’s contract. But so far, no official decision was made yet.

Speaking about the topic, Al Ahly legend turned pundit Ahmed Shobeir revealed that the EFA are close to reaching an agreement with Queiroz for a new contract with the Egyptian national team.

“The EFA have reached an agreement for a new contract with Queiroz.” Shobeir said.

“Queiroz didn’t ask for anything while negotiating. And his new wage is yet to be decide. But he didn’t make any financial demands.” He Added.

EFA appointed Carlos Queiroz as Egypt’s national team manager last September after the dismissal of Hossam El-Badry.
