Super Eagles and Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi has been named Everton’s Goal of the Month for March.

EvertonIans voted Iwobi’s thrilling 99th-minute winner against Newcastle United as the best goal of the month.

After being sent in by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the 25-year-old calmly tapped home to send Goodison Park into raptures and secure a critical three points for the 10-man Toffees.

In 22 league appearances for the Merseysiders this season, the former Arsenal star has scored two goals.

He defeated Claire Emslie whose brilliant finish for Everton Women against Manchester United at Old Trafford came in second.

Salomon Rondon’s first of two goals against Boreham Wood came third.
