Expressing his point of view to beIN Sports, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba claimed that the qualified nations are the best in Africa. The former Elephants captain believes that seeing Egypt and Algeria being knocked out wasn’t surprising.

I hope that one day I see an African team winning the World Cup.” Drogba said.

The World Cup should have more African teams. I am glad that will happen starting from the next edition.

“Egypt and Algeria failing to qualify was expected. The teams who qualified are the best in Africa.” Added Drogba.
