Manchester United Pogba Likely To Miss Man United Games Against Arsenal,Chelsea

Paul Pogba, a midfielder for Manchester United, suffered a calf muscle injury in the club’s away defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday night, according to interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Pogba was taken off after only 10 minutes at Anfield, where United were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool in a dreadful evening for the Reds.

Pogba was replaced by Jesse Lingard, who ran down the tunnel holding his right leg.

Rangnick explained why he made the early substitution to MUTV at his post-match press conference.

He pulled his calf muscle and, as it seems right now, this will not be an injury like the one Fred has which will be gone in one week.

“I fear he will not be available for Arsenal or Chelsea.”

Pogba joins a growing list of injured players, with Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Fred, and Edinson Cavani all ruled out of the encounter at Anfield, while Cristiano Ronaldo was on compassionate leave following the heartbreaking death of his newborn son.

Scott McTominay, who has been out with a foot problem for the last few games, returned to the bench against Liverpool, indicating that he will hopefully make the squad that travels to Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime.
