Shooting Stars FC, a professional Ghanaian football club, is preparing to make history in Accra, Ghana, by playing against Borussia Dortmund Legends (BVB) against an African Legends team.
German giants, Borussia Dortmund, in partnership with Shooting Stars FC will take on a selected African legends team at the Accra Sports Stadium. The match is part of the tour arrangements made by the organisers.
The game, which will come up on the 11th of June will also have arguably Ghana’s greatest ever footballer Abedi Ayew Pele in action.
Austin Jayjay Okocha will join Ghanaian former football stars on the tour by German side to Ghana.

Former Ghanaian stars expected to be involved are Asamoah Gyan, former Black Stars coach CK Akonnor, current coach and development trainer at Borussia Dortmund, Otto Addo, Stephen Appiah, Ibrahim Tanko and a host of others.
Borussia Dortmund said in a statement that the partnership and tour is a product of the club’s history with Africa and its increasing African presence.

We are all excited that this first-ever BVB Legends Ghana tour will finally take place, and look forward to creating some unforgettable memories together with Shooting Stars FC this summer.”
