Last Sunday, Ibrahim Muhammad and Ahmed Abdullahi scored in a 2-0 loss for African champions Ghana, before the Flying Eagles drew 2-2 with Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

The latter’s 2-1 win over Ghana qualified them for the final four.

Despite the fact that top scorer Ahmed Abdullahi is out of the competition due to injury, Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso is sure that his team will rise to the challenge against the Ivorians and earn a trip to Egypt.

On Tuesday, Benin Republic and Burkina Faso will meet in the first semi-final.
