Alex Iwobi has described the just concluded 2021/2022 Premier League season as the most challenging of his career.

Iwobi’s Everton survived relegation by the whisker following their 3-2 come back win against Crystal Palace which moved them to safety.

However, their last game against Arsenal ended in an embarrassing defeat.

But it was already safe for the Toffees who will be hoping to do better next season.

The Super Eagles midfielder in a post on social media said he was however proud to come out on the stronger side.

“The Most Mentally Challenging Season Of My Career So Far Is Over And I’m Proud To Have Come Out Of The Other Side Stronger, Sharper And Hungrier Than Ever, the former Arsenal player wrote.”
