Sadio Mane might have played his last game with Liverpool on Saturday night as Reds bowed to European kings Real Madrid at Stade de France, Paris (1-0).
Six years after joining the Merseyside outfit, Mane will leave Anfield and the Reds this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 2021 AFCON winner has decided to leave Liverpool as he wants a new challenge.

The well-informed Italian journalist said the player’s decision will be confirmed to Liverpool officials with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich being favourite to acquire his services.
If Romano advanced that it’s still open between the contenders, Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto claimed a 3-year contract awaits Sadio Mane at Bayern Munich with the club set to reach an agreement with the Senegalese. The transfer fee could cost up to €40M including add-ons.
In addition, Mane won all possible trophies with Liverpool since joining them from Southampton in 2016 including the UEFA Champions league and the Premier League.
Asked about his future ahead of the Champions league final, Sadio Mane said he’ll provide the best answer after the game : “I think the answer I can give you now is I feel very good,” he said, as per BBC.
“I am fully focused on Saturday’s game, that is the answer I must give before the final. But come back to me on Saturday and I will give you the best answer you want to hear, for sure. It’s special. I will give you all you want to hear then.“
