AFCON AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Holds First Training Session In Abuja

The Super Eagles will undertake their first training session in Abuja on Sunday night, ahead of their qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The training will begin at 5.30 p.m. in the mainbowl of the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The event will be open to the press.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the team will have two more training sessions.

The media will be allowed to attend Tuesday’s session, but the team will train behind closed doors on Wednesday.

On Wednesday at 12 p.m., head coach Jose Peseiro and captain Ahmed Musa will hold a pre-match press conference.

On Friday, the media will get the opportunity to speak with the players.

On Thursday, the Super Eagles will face the Leone Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The team will travel to Marrakech, Morocco, for a match against Sao Tome and Principe on day two of the tournament.
