AFCON Zambia come from behind to beat Comoros

Zambia came from behind to defeat Comoros 2-1 in a 2023 AFCON Group H qualifying match played on Tuesday in Lusaka.

Chipolopolo had the chances to make an instant reply but Fashion Sakala and company failed to find a way past goalkeeper Ahamada.

The hosts did level matters though as skipper Enock Mwepu’s volley from a corner kick put the tie on level teams in the 45th minute.

The two teams went to break at 1-1 the but the hosts dominated ball possession.
