On August 6, the defending champions of the Championship, Fulham, will open their Premier League campaign against Liverpool at home in the noon kickoff, while newly-promoted Bournemouth will host Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest, who will be playing in the top division for the first time since 1999, will travel to Newcastle in the 3 p.m. Kickoff.

Before their final-day journey to Brentford on May 28, City’s season-ending game against Chelsea at home might be crucial if their championship chase goes down to the wire once more. Liverpool plays Southampton to close up their season.

The first Merseyside Derby against Everton will take place at Goodison Park on September 3, and Liverpool fans will also be anticipating an early-season matchup away to rivals Manchester United on August 20.

The inaugural meetings of the Manchester and North London derbies will be hosted by City and Arsenal on the same weekends of October 1 and January 14.

The Premier League season will officially come to an end following the weekend of November 12–13 in order to attend the winter World Cup in Qatar.

In addition to the London derbies between Arsenal and West Ham, Brentford and Tottenham, and Crystal Palace and Fulham, the season will resume on Boxing Day, eight days after the World Cup final on December 18. Nottingham Forest will also play at Old Trafford, the location of their infamous 8-1 loss to Manchester United in their previous Premier League campaign.

Between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve, there are no games scheduled, but on January 2, clubs will resume play after competing on the final day of 2022, with Chelsea vs. Manchester City serving as the opening match of 2023.

The Premier League season will start one week sooner than it did in 2021/22 on the weekend of August 5-7.

To make room for the first-ever winter World Cup, the Premier League will take a break in the middle of the current campaign.

Before the break, the league will play its final match on the weekend of November 12–13. Play will resume on Boxing Day, the day before the World Cup final, which will be played on December 18.

Sunday, May 28 will be the Premier League’s final game.

The FA Cup final will take place on June 3 and the Carabao Cup final will be held on Sunday, February 26.

The Champions League final is set for June 10 in Istanbul, the Europa Conference League final will take place on June 7 in Prague, and the Europa League final will take place on May 31 in Budapest.
