Prior to the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis cut five players from the team’s training camp.
Ellis initially called up 33 players for the selection and training camp, but the team has now been reduced to to 26 players in readiness for Monday’s announcement of the final lineup.
