WAFU B U-17: Golden Eaglets To Play Young Elephants In Semis

Tuesday’s semi-final of the WAFU B U-17 Championship will feature Cote d’Ivoire versus Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets.

In Group B, Cote d’lvoire came in second place to Burkina Faso.

In their final group game on Saturday, the Baby Elephants fell to Burkina Faso 4-2. (today).

On Saturday, Niger defeated Benin Republic 3-1 in the other group game.

With victories over the hosts Ghana and Togo in Group A, the Golden Eaglets are undefeated in the campaign.

The other semifinal will feature Ghana taking on Burkina Faso, who are also unblemished in competition.

The Cape Coast Stadium will host the two semifinal contests.

Next year in Algeria, the two winners will compete in the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
