The Flamingos, Nigeria’s U-17 women’s squad, will learn their group stage World Cup opponents on Friday.

For the biannual competition that will be held in India, 16 nations have qualified.

The FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland will host the draw.

This is the sixth FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, and the competing teams include China PR, Japan, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Spain, France, Morocco, Nigeria, Tanzania, and the tournament hosts, India.

The dates for India 2022 are October 11–October 30.

Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the tournament was originally scheduled to take place last year but was postponed.
