Nigeria Super Eagles Slip To 31st Position In The Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria plummeted to number 31 in the most recent FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, which was announced on Thursday.

The most recent men’s rankings were made available on the FIFA website.
The Super Eagles are now ranked fourth in Africa, behind first-place Senegal, second-place Morocco, and third-place Tunisia.

Sierra Leone which lost to the Eagles in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers, slipped to 113th while Guinea-Bissau remained in 115th.

So Tomé and Principe plummeted to position 187 after losing 10-0 to the Eagles in the AFCON qualifying round.

Brazil continues to hold the top rank, and Belgium has maintained its position in second.

Argentina rose one spot to third, replacing France, who is now in fourth place, and England remained in fifth place without moving.

Spain is in sixth place, Italy is in seventh, the Netherlands are in eighth, Portugal is in ninth place, and Denmark is in tenth place.

On August 25, 2022, the following FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be released.
