Ghana Football Association, GFA has changed names of four national teams. The GFA Executive Council settled on this renaming matter after giving opportunity to ghanaians to make suggestions.

CHAN team, Boys and Girls U-15 teams and Beach Soccer national team changed names.

The CHAN team then called Local Black Stars are now Black Galaxies while the Council has decided to keep the name of the Beach Soccer national team as Black Sharks.

Boys and Girls U-15 teams have become Black Comets and Black Damsels respectively.

According to GFA, the decision is with immediate effect.
