Ghana Black Stars captain and Al Sadd player Andre Ayew has revealed childhood idol and his choice surprised no one.
Speaking on Ghana TV Channel GTV Sports, the 32-year old lauded his father and Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele.
Ayew said his dad is also his childhood idol and is an inspiration for him.

“I take a lot if not every inspiration from him. He’s my idol and an unbelievable Father,” Ayew said, as per GSN.
Abedi Pele is one of the greatest African players of all-time with the former Black Stars midfielder winning the UEFA Champions in 1993 with Olympique Marseille.
Ayew father was also among Ghana’s winning AFCON squad in 1982 and scored 19 goals in 79 appearances with Ghana.
