Bafana Bafana’s central midfielder Lebogang Phiri has left Turkey to return to France to join Paris FC.
Following a season with Turkish Super Lig outfit Rizespor, the 27-year-old Phiri has now signed for France Ligue 2 side, Paris FC as the club annouced on Wednesday.
Having previously spent three seasons with Guingamp before unexpected move to Turkey last season where he played 17 games that included two assists, the Johannesburg-born Phiri is no stranger to France.
This transfer can boost chance for the midfielder to earn a recall to Bafana Bafana squad from Coach Hugo Broos.
