Africa Soccer UD Songo complain to Mozambique FA accusing opponents of fielding players illegally

Union Desportiva do Songo (UD Songo) have accused Ferroviario de Moatize of fielding four players illegally in a Mozambique Cup semifinal match.

The Tete-based Songo launched the protest to Mozambique Football Federation after losing the semifinal match 3-2 to Moatize.

Journal Noticia newspaper of Mozambique reports that Songo accuse the opponents of featuring players with false identities.

Songo claim that Moatize played Cristóvão Sena Malunga, who is registered as a  Textafrica FC player.

The former Mozambique champions also add that other illegally featured players were Blessing Malia, António Pedrito and Fremenga Lúcio.

The club has since asked the FA to enforce player registration regulations
