The Swallows of Burundi are trailed after the first 45 minutes in their AWCON 2022 first clash against Botswana tonight.

The first half was expected to end in a goalless draw as both sides could not break the deadlock.

However, Keitumetse Dithebe stunned Burundi’s goalkeeper with a powerful strike on an assist of Nondi Mahlasela to give his side the lead at half-time.
