Bundesliga Sebastien Haller joins Borussia Dortmund from Ajax Amsterdam

German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Ivory Coast striker Sebastien Haller from Dutch top-flight side Ajax Amsterdam.

Both parties reached an agreement last month with Dortmund agreeing terms with the 28-year old striker by the end of the month.

All the details have been completed and BVB announced the capture of Haller on Wednesday afternoon on their social media ccounts.

“Borussia Dortmund is excited to announce the signing of Sébastien Haller from Ajax on a contract until 2026”, BVB announced.

The Ivorian striker joined Ajax Amsterdam in January 2021 from premier League side West Ham for a €22,5m fee.

And the French-born scorer made a name for himself in Netherlands as he bagged 47 goals and provided 16 goals in 65 appearances in all competitions.

Borussia Dortmund paid €31m to Ajax in order to land the player who expected to replace Erling Haaland in the club’s offensive line.
