Egypt El-Gouna officially Appoint New Head Coach After Sacking Tamer Mostafa

El Gouna sacked Tamer Mostafa two days ago for poor result just after two months at the head of the club. He was believed to improve the performance of the club further to the departure of Reda Shehata in April after nearly two-year stay.

The Gounies have struggled in the Egyptian Premier League this season as they are 14th in the standings with 22 points after 23 games.

As a result, the club have now appointed experienced manager Talaat Youssef at te helm of the club with hopes he would turn their season upright.

Youssef is familiar to the Egyptian Premier League. The 67-year-old previously coached Ittihad, Al Masry, Smouha, Petrojet, and multiple other clubs.

His most recent stint came at Ismaily where he resigned after just two games in charge back in November 2021.
