CAF announced its final 5-man shortlist for the Coach Of The Year Award 2022 with former Al Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane making the list.
Djamel Belmadi who claimed the trophy during CAF Awards last ceremony in 2019 missed out on this year’s final shortlist as Algeria had a humbling AFCON 2021 journey, bowing out from the group stages.
Congolese manager Florent Ibenge does not make the list despite guiding RS Berkane to glory in CAF Confederation Cup this year against Orlando Pirates.

The winner will be known during CAF Awards ceremony on July 21.
