Transfers Koulibaly Reaches Personal Agreement To Join Chelsea

Agreement have been reached between Chelsea and Napoli for Kalidou Koilibaly to join the Premier League club.

Koulibaly who played a vital role in helping Napoli book a UEFA Champions League ticket for next season is set to complete his medicals in the coming days.

According to transfer expert and Italian journalists, Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now closing on Koulibaly deal.

He revealed that full the Senegalese defender has agreed a personal terms for €10m net per season and will sign a five years contract until June 2027.

Negotiation set to be completed in the coming days: Chelsea working to close the deal for €38m plus add ons as final proposal.

Chelsea under new owner Todd Boehly wants to strengthen the club as he promised to give maximum support to Thomas Tuchel.

Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left the club and there was need for Chelsea to plug the hole.

Koulibaly was part of Senegalese team that won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON in Cameroon.
