Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu urges Andre Ayew to speak with former Ghana national team captains before 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Badu said he will talk personally to the Al-Sadd player but also urged him to consult former Black Stars captains.

“Andre Ayew leading the side to the world cup is a huge task for him. Everyone will be watching him because he is the skipper,” he told said.

“I will speak to him as well as a brother. He needs to speak to the likes of Stephen Appiah, and others players because this is a huge task.

“But for me, I believe he has the qualities and the experience to lead the Black Stars to the World Cup.”

As a reminder, Ghana is located in Group H alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, their first opponents, South Korea and Uruguay.
