Greek Cypriot side Arms Limassol FC midfielder, Mihlali Mayambela, said that he has amassed enough experience to play for the South African national team.

The young brother to Mark Mayambela, a popular figure in South African football, has been playing in Europe since 2016.

Having played in Sweden, Portugal, Israel and Cyprus, the 25-year-old South African star mentioned that he is waiting for his team call-up.

It’s a very tricky situation. With all due respect, I have enough talent to play for Bafana. I know how to play football.” Mayambela told Sowetan Live.

Anyway, I am here waiting for that call-up. Let’s see what the future holds.

“However, it is not something that’s bothering me. As much as I would love to represent my country, I am not obsessed about it. There’s more to life than playing for Bafana. But in my humble opinion I think I deserve to be there.” He added.
