South Africa WAFCON 2022: Seoposenwe Hands South Africa The Lead In First Half

South Africa took a 1-0 lead against Tunisia in the last quarter final game of the WAFCON 2022.

The Banyana Banyana who are on the verge of booking their spot in next year’s FIFA Women World Cup headed to the game as favourite having defeated Nigeria 2-1 in the opening game.

Jermaine Seoposenwe found the opener in the 13th minute after an impressive start.

The Ellis Desiree pressed the Tunisian side with high intensity from the start .

Jermaine Seoposenwe almost came close earlier to get the opener but was denied by Tunisia goalkeeper.

She found the net in the 13th minute to put her team in control heading to the first half break with a stunning solo run.

Known for their high pressing style in the second half, the Banyana Banyana could add more.
