A deal has been concluded between Ajax and Manchester United for the transfer of Lisandro Martnez.

The player’s contract with both clubs and the results of a medical examination are still pending conditions for the transfer.

The defender has a deal with Ajax through June 30, 2025.

Ajax and the English team came to an agreement on a transfer fee of € 57.37 million.

Variables allow for an increase of that sum to € 67.37 million.
On January 18, 1998, Lisandro Martnez was born in Gualeguay, Argentina.

In 2019, the defender moved from Argentina’s Defensa y Justicia.

He made his first appearance for the first team on July 27, 2019, in the Johan Cruyff Shield match between Ajax and PSV (2-0).

The international player scored six goals in 120 official games for the Ajax first squad.

In 2021 and 2022, Lisandro Martnez won the Netherlands championship with Ajax.

The Dutch Cup was won in 2021 by the “Ajax Player of the Year” from the previous season.

On his debut in 2019, he won his first honor, the Johan Cruyff Shield.
