Foot Europe Robert Lewandowski Officially Unveiled As FC Barcelona Player

After agreeing the deal last week to move Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona has officially reveal on Tuesday the signing of the Polish striker for a total fee of EUR 50 million.

FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have arrived at an agreement for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski for a total of €45 million + €5 million in variables. The player will sign a contract with the Club for the next four seasons...” Wrote the club on its official website.

Lewandowski, who had 12 months remaining on his Bayern contract, moved to Barcelona after some disagreements with the German football club.

The disagreement between FC Bayern and Lewandowski arose in connection with a new contract. While the striker was demanding at least a two-year contract extension and a raise, the Munich club’s owners were only willing to offer him a one-year extension.

The 33-year-old has joined the team on their US pre-season tour where he completed his medical.

The club will present their new signing this Wednesday at noon (EDT) in Miami, Spanish media reported.
