Manchester United legend Gary Neville has advised Frenkie de Jong to consider a legal action against FC Barcelona over the club’s functioning.
Manchester United are watching carefully over De Jong’s situation with their new manager Erik ten Hag keen on reuniting with him at Old Trafford after their time at Ajax.
However, the Red Devils failed to meet the expectations of the Spanish giants with the club now open to keep the Dutch star.
While the Premier League side continue to struggle in this summer transfer window, Barcelona are one of the most active clubs with four signings including Robert Lewandowski so far.

For Frenkie de Jong to stay at the club, reports claimed Barcelona asked him to reduce his salary with Xavi Hernandez reiterating his desire to keep him.
However, this is unfair according to Gary Neville who advanced that a club which claim to have no money can not continue signing new players while asking some to have a salary pay-cut.
“De Jong should consider legal action against Barcelona and all players should be behind him”, Neville wrote on Twitter.
“A club spending fortunes on new players whilst not paying the ones they have under contract their full money is immoral and a breach. FIFPRO should be all over bullying like this and stop it.”
