A mere 24 hours after instructing the participating teams in the inter-clubs competition to submit their home venue by August 20th, the list of the authorized stadiums was made public on Wednesday.

Given that four clubs will be competing in the Champions League and Confederations Cup, seven Nigerian stadiums have been licensed and certified to host any CAF matches.

Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Edo State, Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos, Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, MKO Stadium in Abuja, and Adokie Amasiamaka Stadium round up the list of seven venues ( Port Harcourt).

Apart from Rivers United, three other clubs competing in the inter-club competitions, Plateau United, Remo Stars, and Kwara United, may very well travel to play their home match, according to the CAF report.
