Nigeria TP Mazembe Signs Enyimba Captain, Former Wikki Tourists Player

Captain of Enyimba Augustine Oladapo has joined TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Oladapo committed to a two-year deal with a potential third.

On Monday, the 27-year-old will got his medical examination.

The talented and experienced Nigerian will sign with TPM for two seasons plus an optional third. 

“The club is happy to welcome him from this Sunday, August 14 and satisfied that he has chosen TPM. 

“Central midfielder Augustine will strengthen the squad in the midfield and offer a complementary solution to Franck DUMAS.

” He promises to bring his attacking qualities, his experience and a winning mentality that sticks in the spirit of the Badiangwenas.

“The new recruit of the Ravens, from Enyimba, will have to pass his medical examination on Monday before affixing his signature on the contract of the Ravens.

Oladapo arrived from Gombe United in 2018 and stayed at Enyimba for five years.

He has previously played for Kwara United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

The club had earlier also announced the signing of former Wikki Tourists player Michael Gopey.

Gopey was plying his trade with Ukrainian club, FC Inhulets Petrove, before the outbreak of the Ukraine Russia war since February.

The arrival at TPM of Michael Stephen GOPEY was the first big move of the transfer window made by TPM for the 2022-2023 season.

The Ukrainian championship being at a standstill because of the war, Michael Stephen GOPEY the former of FC Inhulets Petrove, passed by Al Arabi (Kuwait), Wikki Tourists, Rivers United and Lobi Stars of Nigeria returns to the African continent under the TPM colors to give a new dimension to his career. 

GOPEY promises to stay in the copper capital even longer than his first contract, convinced that he will get a taste for adventure.

The new recruit arrives in Lubumbashi this Sunday, August 14 to pass his medical examination before going to join his partners at the CEF in Futuka.
