Nigeria Bayelsa Queens Arrive Ivory Coast For WAFU B CAF Champions League Qualifier

Bayelsa Queens, the representative of Nigeria in the 2022 Women’s CAF Champions League, has arrived in Cote d’Ivoire, the location of the competition, ahead of the regional qualifications.


The Bayelsa Queens won the Super 6 playoff in Benin City, Edo State, and earned the right to represent the nation.


After spending a considerable amount of time in a closed camp, the team left Lagos on Tuesday morning for the country in West Africa.

The report states that they have arrived and are prepared to participate in the event that will begin this weekend.


Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana, the reigning champions, and Togo’s Athleta FC are all put in the same group as Bayelsa Queen.

The Ivory Coast competition’s winner will represent the nation in the main competition in Morocco.
